The Inter-facility Transfer Tab

For booking trips between health care facilities the case entry protocol doesn’t elicit all of the information necessary to efficiently book the trip. For this reason a separate form has been provided to book inter-facility transfers.

We found it necessary to develop a separate form for interrogation for inter-facility transfers, to ensure that we send the right unit with the right equipment on the call. Date and time booked are the time for the crew to be at the patients side. In the case of patients with specific appointments our dispatcher may radio and ask your crew for this time to ensure adequate travel time.

Because of resistance to the interrogation, all questions below the line were dropped except for The East Central Health District.
