Next is the shift status report. This is in two parts View shifts and Edit shifts.

View shifts

A completed report is shown below. When you create one of these reports it is available to the dispatchers as a part of their CAD system moments later. 

The Shift Status report is designed to be completed at each shift change and is intended to replace the monthly schedules that are currently being faxed  in. It is hoped that as they will be done at shift changes they would be more useful to the dispatchers.

To create a shift status report select the Edit Shifts link this will take you to the following page.

This user id and password is different from the id and password you used to access the site

At the bottom of this page there is a note field that can be used to send pertinent information to the dispatch center.

Checking off save these as the default allows you to save a shift you have created for future use.

Once you have created the shift by clicking on the create page button, the shift status report will become available to the dispatchers in their CAD system.

Any of the sections of the shift status report that require customization have an icon next to the field with a plus sign in the icon. Clicking on these icons bring up pages like those following.

To complete a report select from the dropdown boxes (do not type into the fields).

To customize a section with your own data type the appropriate information in to the fields in the tables that pop up when you click on the plus icons. Each of the fields in these tables has two icons beside it one with a 3.5 inch floppy, clicking on this icon saves your changes, and one with an X clicking on this deletes the entry. The last field in each table has a Plus sign icon beside it. When new data is entered use the plus sign to add the record.

When entering the names of staff or volunteers the fields will not save unless you enter at least one  phone number with the name.
